What’s An Encounter Weekend?

This weekend is designed for you to encounter yourself and God.
When you are serious enough to take time to get away from every day life and spend time with God, powerful things can happen. When we come to God in honesty and with a willingness to surrender our lives to Him, He removes things that are holding us back and fills us with new things – His thoughts, actions, and heart. In the process, He gives us the ability to overcome sin and other things that can be barriers in our walk with God. His power and His presence will make a huge difference in your life.

What Can I Expect?

You control the effectiveness of the Encounter.
God is set to reveal Himself as your deliverer, healer, comforter, and teacher. The success of this weekend depends on your participation, attention, and openness. Come with an open heart, believing God for a life-changing encounter.

You will be with others who are there to encounter God, just like you. However, an Encounter is very personal. You won’t be part of a group counseling session or in any way forced to do anything you don’t want to do. In addition, what is said and done at the Encounter stays at the Encounter.

You will be treated with respect and we ask that you treat others with respect as they allow God’s work to be done in their lives.

You’re not going to a 4-star hotel to lounge by the pool! You will be staying in a motel-style room that is climate controlled. We will feed you, but don’t expect steak and shrimp. We will have times of teaching, times of ministry, and breaks throughout the weekend. It’s a full weekend that moves very quickly.
